The Omega WF24ZZLN is a straight stitch and zig-zag walking foot sewing machine with a longer than usual length (16”) allowing more work space than other models. The walking foot will insure that the machine is carrying the material from both sides of fabric, bottom by the feed dogs and top by the walking foot. This will create stability and make it a lot more easy to sew through thicker materials and will insure a longer stitch.  The machine is also equipped with a strong built-out 1.5 Amp motor that will give a lot of power for thicker materials. The motor connects with the machine using a double dented belt system making belt slips impossible.  This Omega has a stitch length selector with reverse, an adjustable tension unit, a stitch width selector and needle position for straight stitch. Pressure foot system is fully adjustable and there is a built-in bobbin winder. It is easy to transport with the metal handle.

This machine comes with the following attachments:

  • The instruction manual
  • A set of 10 needles size 18 for leather, jeans, sailing/marine materials and upholstery
  • 4 metal bobbins
  • Electronic foot controller
  • A bottle of oil
  • 2 screwdrivers
  • An industrial metal thread stand

Dimensions 6.5 × 14.5 × 8.25 in

Bought this model WF24ZZLN. Had the salesman set up the machine for heavy work. i.e. reverse wheel clutch plate. This is my 5th machine, second heavy or industrial. Sews 6 layers of leather or webbing. Used it to repair my aircraft cover.
    – walking foot with zig zag at same time, and reverse.
-Does not like to have the wheel moved backwards, thread jams in bobbin.
    -easy to thread bobbin
-Does not come with work light. you need one.
-takes needle sizes 18-21. No automatic needle threader.
    – Foot lever on top. hate that, but gets left hand away from foot.
    – Machine mechanism is very tight when new. I’ll oil it more often til it breaks in.
    – Oiling chart is sad. You need to turn it by hand to see where the wear points are.
    – dealer says oil it once yearly. I don’t think so. Oil shaft bearings and cams every use.
    – Motor is 1.1 amps at 115 volts. around 1/6 hp, but geared so it’s strong.
-wheel is small, They sell and optional large wheel for $100. Too much. Large steel wheel might weigh several pounds.
Dealer says he has every part in stock. Spare needle plate and both bobbin cases might be a good idea.
    – never had a jam once I learned to hand turn the wheel forward.
    – expect this to be the last machine I’ll ever buy.
